  1. Drive and undertake recruitment activities (including but not limited to sourcing, screening, short-listing, interviewing, assessment centre development and facilitation & negotiating packages with successful candidates).
  2. Develop and utilise best practice, multi-channel talent sourcing tools and techniques to identify candidates and build robust talent pools for future resourcing requirements.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Recruitment Officer on a fixed-term basis in the Corporate Governance & Strategy Unit 

Corporate Governance & Strategy (CG&S) develops the corporate plan and annual report for Homes Victoria and has responsibility for overseeing key governance forums such as Homes Victoria Advisory Board and the Big Housing Build and operating model design and implementation. CG&S also works closely with the Social Housing Reform team on reforms, strategic direction, and key performance indicators. 

The Recruitment Advisor will be responsible for providing high-quality talent acquisition advice (tactical and strategic) and managing recruitment outcomes aligned to clients, resource plans and capability requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic project environment. The Recruitment Advisor will work closely with line management, as well the Senior Advisor, Workforce Development, to establish an operational understanding of their business and the candidate skill set required for current and future success.

As our ideal candidate, you will be required to demonstrate:

  1. Experience in the Recruitment industry, agency or internal is mandatory

  2. Proficiency (intermediate to advanced) in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), email management and internet are required. Microsoft Project and Visio would be well regarded.

Qualifications or requirements for this opportunity include:

  • A qualification in HR and/or equivalent experience is desirable
