About the Role:

The Recruitment Coordinator forms part of the Human Resources, Barwon South West Region (BSW) and plays a vital role in ensuring quality recruitment practices via the coordination of end-to-end recruitment and selection activities. This includes the creation and review of position descriptions, recruitment activity requests, advertising roles, coordination of and participation in shortlisting and interview activities, referee checking and on-boarding of new staff. The role will be responsible for the maintenance of various systems which support the recruitment activity and may need to prioritise recruitment campaigns based on the available resources.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Being responsible for coordinating and participating in regional recruitment and selection related activities including advertising, preparation of applicant kits, shortlisting schedules and recruitment related correspondence.
  • Providing authoritative and timely advice to clients on a range of issues, including employment, remuneration and recruitment, through the application of relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining the staffing establishment data and reporting on current and forecasted vacancies utilising various databases and payroll systems.

About You:

As an ideal candidate, you will possess:

  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience in human resources and best practice recruitment.
  • Demonstrated experience in CHRIS21 and other HRIS systems.

Qualifications:

  • A qualification in Human Resource Management and/or commensurate experience would be highly regarded.
