About the service:
Our Medical Services at the Royal Melbourne Hospital are currently seeking highly motivated Registered Nurses to join our team. Our Medical Services operates within the Royal Melbourne Hospital city campus and has various education opportunities available in addition to team nursing models and preceptorship.
What you'll need to succeed in any of our vacancies:
5N is one of our 3 General Medical Wards. These wards specialise in the admission of patients with a range of medical conditions, including congestive cardiac failure, sepsis, pneumonia, metabolic disorders, eating disorders, respiratory illnesses, and acute exacerbations of chronic illnesses.
The principle of streaming will achieve the concept of “Right Patient to Right Unit First Time Every Time” by the streamlining of acute General Medical patients into short-term stream and/or long-term streams
