About the role

We are an acute 24 bed renal and vascular surgery unit. We strive to deliver evidenced based care to our patients and their families. We maintain a strong sense of customer focus, accountability and a commitment to continuous improvement and excellence.

You are an enthusiastic, motivated registered nurse keen to share your knowledge and experience, and develop your career further whilst being part of a supportive team. You have well-developed patient assessment and critical thinking skills. You will be a valued member of a diverse and inclusive, highly dedicated, multi-disciplinary team incorporating doctors, social workers, allied health and divisional therapists.  We pride ourselves on going above and beyond to provide our residents with timely access to high quality care.

About you 

To be successful in this role you will possess:

  • Current, condition-free registration with AHPRA 

  • Recent Australian nursing experience in an acute renal and/or surgical ward

  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills

  • An ongoing desire to learn and commitment to professional development

  • A strong commitment to high quality care

  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team

  • The ability to embrace a challenge
