About Jessie McPherson Private Hospital:

Jessie McPherson Private Hospital (JMPH) is a 115 bed tertiary level Private Hospital which has been co-located at Monash Medical Centre Clayton since 1987.

Jessie McPherson Private Hospital also has a wider official specialist role for greater Melbourne, regional Victoria and interstate in such specialties as cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neurology/neurosurgery gastroenterology, gastrointestinal surgery, high acuity maternity and neonatal services.

Jessie McPherson Neurosciences Unit:

Ward 31South is a 26 bed Neurosurgery & Vascular surgical unit that is co-located with Monash Medical Centre that provides a unique opportunity to world-renowned research and teaching facilities.

Our high level services include:

  • 3 High Dependency beds for patients who require a higher level of specialised care
  • Access to  Intensive Care Unit to allow for the best in immediate pre and post-surgery observation and care
  • We provide care for a various range of neurology conditions, post neurosurgical interventions and major neurosurgical /neuro interventional surgery procedures.

About the Role

You will be an integral part of our high functioning team who is willing to:

  • Showcase your clinical knowledge and skills in our Neurosciences team
  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Deliver a high standard of safe patient centred care to our patients and families
  • Escalate clinical concerns and changes in a patient’s condition
  • Effective communication to patients, doctors, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participate in Quality and Safety activities and maintenance of NSQHS

What You Need

We are seeking professional, passionate and dedicated Registered Nurses with acute clinical experience, ideally but not limited to the Neurosciences specialty, who can demonstrate the following:
