Are you driven by a passion for patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced setting? This exciting opportunity within our Acute Care Unit, will provide you with an amazing opportunity to enhance your clinical skills and be part of an amazing team.

At our leading 22-bed facility at Southwest Healthcare, we're dedicated to supporting patients with complex surgical and medical needs. As the primary referral unit for patients transitioning from our ICU, our team of experienced Registered Nurses works closely with various clinical services to ensure positive outcomes for both patients and their families in a secure and compassionate environment.

Position Overview

We have the following 2 positions available

  • Parental Leave Cover: Fixed-term, part-time (64 hours per fortnight) until May 2025.
  • Fixed term, part-time (64 hours per fortnight) until January 2025. With potential to extend based on performance and business needs
  • Warrnambool Campus
  • Classification: Registered Nurse Grade 2
  • Salary Range: $71,333 - $95,378 pro rata, plus superannuation and applicable penalties 

What You'll Bring:

  • Current AHPRA Registration, as a Registered Nurse.
  • At least 6 months of recent experience in acute medical or surgical settings.
  • Commitment to confidentiality by upholding the highest standards of professional confidentiality.
  • A strong dedication to providing the best possible care in a safe and caring environment.
  • Excellent management and communication skills.
  • A commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
  • Applicant must have current working rights within Australia
