The Opportunity

Applications are invited from suitably experienced Child and Family Health Nurses to join the dynamic team at Albury Community Health.  The role of the Child and Family Health Nurse forms an integral part of Primary health Care and aims to maintain, improve and promote the optimal health and wellbeing of children (0-5 years) and their families by providing services in the form of assessment, social support, education, supportive counselling, appropriate referral and documentation. 

Child and Family Health Nursing practice is grounded in a strength-based partnership model and endeavours to empower families through a sensitive, flexible approach to service delivery and a commitment to individual care and public health.  The casual position is ideally suited to someone who has a strong interest in Child and Family Health Nursing and genuine interest in developin their career in this area of  nursing.
