Maryborough District Health Service is seeking a Registered Nurse Grade 2 with experience in Urgent Care/Emergency Nursing to join our dynamic Urgent Care team in this fixed-term role. In this role, you will use your fantastic clinical and interpersonal skills to deliver a high level of care to our patients, provided in a quality framework and promoting positive health outcomes!

Registered Nurse – Urgent Care Centre

Permanent Part Time – 40 hours per fortnight

Fixed Term Part Time - 56 hours per fortnight - To Commence ASAP until 01/12/2024

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

 Qualifications / Experience

  1. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions.

Specialist Expertise

  1. Sound understanding of the role and responsibilities of a Registered Nurse
  2. Ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff at all levels within the organisation
  3. Ability to practice collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  4. Knowledge of and involvement in evidence-based practice and research activities
  5. Commitment to ongoing education and professional development to ensure working within current scope of practice.

Personal Qualities

  1. Excellent organisational skills particularly with respect to time management
  2. Well-developed interpersonal skills
  3. Excellent communication and computer skills at the level required to fulfil the role.
