Our Journey:
North 3 is a 28 bed Acute Surgical Ward specialising in Colorectal and Gastroenterology. We have a dedicated multidisciplinary team who work closely together to ensure that we achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients and families/carers
A Day in the Life:
We are proud of the culture we have built in our ward, where the continued support our team provide each means we are consistently able to deliver high standards of care to all of our patients. We are a highly acute ward, looking after some very medically unwell patients, and you will be a role where you are constantly improving your nursing skills. With the support and education our nurses receive, they are always furthering and developing their clinical skills and judgement ensuring we provide the highest level of care to our patients. This really is a role where you will be able to challenge yourself, and see the rewarding outcomes both for you and your patients.
What You Bring:
You will have sound clinical judgement, gained form your time in an acute nursing setting, and you will be passionate about providing the highest level of care to your patients. Colorectal and/or Gastroenterology experience is fantastic, but we are confident our highly skilled team can support you to succeed without it.
On a Personal Level, you:
You are a nurse who is passionate about what you do, and this will be evident in the way you approach your patients and their care. You enjoy learning and are committed to continuing growth and development in your nursing journey.
What you need:
To be considered for these roles you will need to have previously worked in an acute setting and gained a good understanding of what is involved in caring for acutely unwell patients. You will also need:
