Our Journey:
PICU is a dedicated paediatric tertiary 10 bed unit with a complex patient mix and is one of 2 Paediatric intensive care referral units for the State of Victoria. PICU is accredited by the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand and admits over 700 children a year with a broad range of general and subspecialty paediatric as well as surgical conditions
PICU is led by a group of dedicated and enthusiastic team of medical, nursing, administration and support service staff and committed allied health professionals. We believe in supporting each other, in being kind and in providing the very best care to the children and families in our unit.
A Day in the Life:
We are excited to be offering positions for suitably experienced critical care Registered Nurses (RN). Our nursing team offer specialist care for critically unwell children with complex surgical and medical conditions, and we pride ourselves on the compassionate care we provide to our patients and their families.
