About the Role:
This is a Permanent Part Time position at 0.8 FTE/ 64 hours per fortnight within the Cockatoo Ward.
You will be responsible for ensuring that clinical practice and delivery of care is consistent with Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) and Australian Nurses and Midwifery Council standards. This will be achieved through providing comprehensive, safe, evidence-based practice across a range of contexts, to facilitate optimal health outcomes for our patients. We offer excellent professional development to enhance your nursing practice and conduct comprehensive and systematic nursing assessments to improve the quality of our nursing care provided. This is a rewarding role which will see you involved in all aspects of nursing, including assessments, treatment and delivery of care.

Classification for this position will range from YP3 - YP9, Grade 2 Year 2 to Grade 2 Year 8 (FTE base salary $71,333 to $95,378 per annum, plus superannuation).

Cockatoo - Surgical and Neuro Care Ward cares for patients aged from infancy to adolescence from Victoria, Australia and internationally. The clinical staff provide comprehensive care to patients with neurological,, neurosurgical, metabolic, endocrine and complex gastroenterology and hepatology conditions.
