The Position

Title: Registeted Nurses and Enrolled Nurses

Department: Residential Aged Care

Classification: Nurses & Midwives EA, Grade 2, IB68-IB72 & RN Grade 2 Year 2-8 (YP2-YP9).

Hours per fortnight: Negotiable

Status:  Permanent Part Time

Applications are sought from suitably qualified Registered and Enrolled Nurses to work in Glanville Village at Echuca Regional Health.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide, safe and effective evidence based nursing care as part of the clinical team
• Maintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practice.
• Conduct systemic nursing assessments and plan nursing care in consultation with individual patients, their significant others and interdisciplinary health care team.
• Act as a patient advocate
• Actively participate in in-house education and training programs
• Practice within a professional, ethical and evidence based nursing framework

Our team requires someone who has:

• Proven experience working in Aged Care nursing
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Enrolled Nurses with medication administration endorsement
• Demonstrated problem solving and decision making skill
• High level interpersonal skills

This position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check and (where relevant) provision of a Working With Children Check and check on the Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme prior to appointment.  In addition, this position requires evidence of vaccination status for COVID-19.
