About Haematology Oncology & Other Specialties Ward at Monash Health, Clayton


Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 18,000 people across a range of specialities.


Haematology Oncology & Other Specialties Ward is located at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton and is a 38 Bed Unit with 2 Chemotherapy Day chairs. The Wards’ main clinical focus is Haematology Oncology with a broader focus covering Dermatology, Endocrinology, Infectious Diseases and Rheumatology. Our Ward is dedicated to delivering patient centred care at all times.


About The Role


Haematology Oncology & Other Specialties is fortunate enough to have NEW permanent  opportunities for Registered Nurses (RN) to expand their experience and passion in Haematology Oncology. Whilst our specialty is Haematology Oncology, this role presents an excellent opportunity to broaden your clinical skills and gain exposure across a diverse and dynamic Ward. This role will suit a Registered Nurse (RN) with proven experience in the administration and management of patients receiving chemotherapy combined with a passion to broaden clinical skills across other diverse specialities.


NEW Permanent Full & Part time roles working across a 24/7 rotating roster.


About You


You are an experienced RN dedicated to delivering a high standard of evidence based nursing care to all patients. You are compassionate and possess demonstrated clinical skills in Haematology Oncology with a genuine interest in other specialities offered within our Ward.

  • ADAC qualified OR willing to undertake & complete ADAC within the first three months of employment

What You Need



  • Relevant Qualification

  • Proven post qualification acute clinical skills, ideally in Haematology Oncology

  • Completion of the ADAC course/equivalent OR willingness to undertake & complete ADAC within the first three months of employment

  • Willingness to take on a portfolio(s) contributing to ward quality improvements and National Standards
