About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, caring and highly motivated recovery focused Registered nurse with an interest in Mental Health nursing to join our friendly and supportive Adolescent Inpatient Unit at Box Hill Hospital

The unit fosters a collaborative and compassionate team approach with a strong focus on the individuals’ personal recovery. The unit provides a range of therapeutic interventions to both young people and their families.

The AIPU is a 12 bed Acute Psychiatric unit providing care for consumers 13-17 years of age.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:

• Current Nursing registration with AHPRA


• Post Graduate qualifications in Mental Health is desirable or working towards


• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills


• A strong commitment to high quality care


• The ability to work as part of a diverse team


• Highly motivated, compassionate and consumer focused
