POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Risk Officer role has been created as part of a dedicated capability to enhance the risk identification, awareness and management across Homes Victoria as it effectively delivers on the Big Housing Build and other commitments. Given the importance of the strategic programs being delivered, an effective risk management capability, supported by effective policies and processes, is critical to ensure program risks are effectively and proactively managed.

The role will work with the Senior Risk Advisor, and as part of the Performance, Risk and Program Management team, to deliver and embed fit for purpose approaches to risk management through a combination of technical advice and effective stakeholder engagement skills.

Are you:                                                    

  • An experience risk professional with a passion for proactively supporting organisations to manage their enterprise- and program-specific risks and issues to deliver on their strategic outcomes?
  • Effective at collaborating with others to build their knowledge and understanding of the value of effective risk management practices?
  • Confident in exploring areas of risk in both infrastructure and service-related programs backed by an understanding of the Victorian Government Risk Management Framework?
