Senior Transaction Advisor

  • Annual Salary Range: VPS5 $102, 637 – $124, 183 per annum plus superannuation

About the Opportunity

The Senior Transaction Advisor sits within Commercial Transactions and is responsible for providing project management services, creating and managing data rooms for major commercial projects, and will play a lead role in the mobilisation of staff and advisors to support projects. The role sits within the newly formed comercial services team, which supports both Commercial Advisory and Commercial Transactions in the delivery of high quality commercial advice and expertise in both strategy and delivery.

 About You

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key skills:

  • User Satisfaction – Has delivered quality data rooms that are user-friendly and contain reliable and relevant information, to the satisfaction of registered bidders.
  • High Quality Documentation –Has effectively compiled business documentation that is materially free from errors and documents have been catalogued with consistent naming conventions and dates.
  • Staff Mobilisation –Has led the mobilisation of staff and advisors on key projects, reporting to relevant project Directors. Staff and Advisors have been onboarded according to best practice recruitment timing as advised by People and Culture and procurement.
  • High Quality Reporting –Has provided consistent monthly project reporting on budget, schedule and risk to the satisfaction of the Director Commercial Services. Key risks have in relation to budget scope and schedule have been assessed using traffic light ratings, and interviews with the project team have been conducted.
  • Promote and support safe, inclusive and flexible team operations

Qualifications

Mandatory

  • Data room experience in a project context

Desirable

  • Public sector recruitment and/or procurement experience in a project context
      • transactional experience with large scale public sector projects in the strategy and procurement phases
