The Opportunity
The Senior Adviser, Social Value and Inclusion will be responsible for developing policy to help generate community acceptance of and support for Victoria's future Renewable Energy Zones (REZs). The position will be responsible for developing ‘place-based' policy and programs deliver benefits to communities and Traditional Owners under the Victorian Transmission Investment Framework (VTIF).
Reporting to the Manager, Social Value and Inclusion this position will play a pivotal role in engaging with key stakeholders across VicGrid in the design of initiatives that will deliver the Victorian Government's new REZ benefit sharing plan. In addition, they will develop briefing packs for Ministers, stakeholders and other parts of government, and provide internal advice on measures to help increase acceptance of renewable energy and transmission infrastructure.
