The North East Link Project will deliver the missing link in Melbourne's road network that will finally complete the Metropolitan Ring Road by connecting the M80 to the Eastern Freeway to improve outer north-south links for road freight movement and improve travel time and reliability.
About North East Link
The North East Link Project (NELP) will connect the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network, while increasing the capacity of the Eastern Freeway. It will slash travel times, get trucks off local roads and link key growth areas in the north and south-east.
About the opportunity
Be part of a transformative infrastructure project for Victoria, with an exciting role, operating from the Office of the CEO.
As the Senior Advisor, Careers and Skills, you will work within a cross-functional environment to develop and deliver support programs for priority workers impacted by business displacement due to NELP's construction. Specifically, your efforts in developing, implementing, reviewing and reporting on NELP's Employee Assistance Strategy and Industry Workforce and Skills Development Strategy to the required standards will ensure that the needs of displaced businesses and workers are met.
This is the perfect opportunity for an Outplacement Support, Employment Programs or Employment Services specialist to leverage their knowledge of career development practices, VET/TAFE and university sectors as well as their extensive industry networks to achieve sustainable outcomes for communities in Melbourne's north and east.
Please note that the successful incumbent will be required to work from our city & site office locations, based at 121 Exhibition Street, Watsonia, Heidelberg and Bulleen, and have the flexibility to visit workers and business across the project corridor as required.
