Can you provide outstanding strategic financial advice to support decision makers in a fast paced and complex environment?
The Senior Advisor Financial Strategy is responsible for providing expert advice and information within the Regions, Environment, Climate Action and First Peoples (RECAFP) Group on a range of strategic budget and financial matters. This includes the development and monitoring of a multi-year forward financial plan that will inform key management decisions including annual business planning, workforce management and advice to the Minister related to the strategic use of key fund sources.
This role will work in collaboration with the Group Finance Manager as well a key contact across the Office of the Deputy Secretary, the broader group and department. The role requires outstanding financial acumen, sound communication skills that can be tailored to financial and non-financial audiences, excellent planning and organisational skills and the ability to navigate a changing organisational context in an agile and fast paced operating environment.

This is a fixed term position available for a period of 12 months. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
