The Dandenong Continuing Care Team  provides recovery-oriented treatment to consumers experiencing a range of complex mental health problems in their own environment.

About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for a senior clinician (RPN4, SW3 or OT3) with extensive clinical experience to join our exciting enhanced community team. The Dandenong Continuing Care Team requires a highly skilled clinician with the skills and knowledge to work within a recovery orientated care framework whilst working collaboratively with consumers, carers/families, the leadership and multi-disciplinary team. This role is a full time position and working hours are 8.30am – 8.30 pm, 7 days per week.

About You

You are able to demonstrate specialist clinical knowledge and inspire and encourage your team, individuals and groups to achieve organisational and service goals. Sound knowledge and experience with Assessments, Formulation and Planning

  • Post graduate studies in mental health or completion of a specialist undergraduate psychiatric nursing program (essential)

  • B. App Sc (OT), B. Occupational Therapy, or Master of Occupational Therapy  

  • Must have a Bachelor of Social Work or Masters of Social Work

  • Written evidence of eligibility for AASW membership for overseas qualifications is required

  • Mental Health accredited social worker or working towards AASW CPE accreditation.

  • Experience in Mental Health, within community, acute or inpatient environment ( essential)

  • Current AHPRA registration

  • Current Employee Working with Children Check

  • Relevant working rights/ Visa for Australia
