Senior Clinician – HOPE Program
Up to 80 hours per fortnight available (with monthly ADO)

About the role
We are seeking a Senior Clinician who will play a crucial role in our mental health assessment team, demonstrating expertise and understanding in the assessment of mental health issues, particularly in the realm of suicide risk assessment and safety planning. This role involves close collaboration with psychosocial support workers and other organisations to develop comprehensive recovery plans for our consumers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of consumers' mental health needs, with a focus on suicide risk assessment and safety planning.
  • Collaborate effectively with the team to develop and implement appropriate service provision strategies.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation related to assessments and service provision is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Meet all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) established by the Health Service to maintain quality standards.
  • Provide supervision and support to psychosocial support workers as needed to enhance the effectiveness of our services.
  • Present educational sessions as required to support ongoing professional development and knowledge sharing within the organisation.

Skills and experience

  • Registration with appropriate professional organisations (AHPRA or eligibility for registration with AASW)
  • experience in mental health community service delivery.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022
  • Experience in Recovery focused services
  • Drivers Licence
