  • Exciting part time contract of 48hrs per fortnight, within the adult phone triage team

  • Provide skilful phone triage assessment, linkage and referral to predominantly adult consumers, all ages in the after hours capacity

  • Rostering across two shifts (0711-1530hrs and 1330-2200hrs) seven days a week

  • Part of a supportive team of Senior clinicians to support learning and skill development of new staff

About the facility

Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Services (MHDAS) provide integrated and recovery orientated mental health, drugs and alcohol assessment, treatment and community support to people of all ages within the Barwon region experiencing, or at risk of experiencing, mental health and / or drug and alcohol issues, and their families.

The Phone triage team are the first point of contact for all new referrals and frequently providing phone based support to existing consumers in the afterhours capacity.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated senior clinician who will engage mental health and drug and alcohol consumers, carers and stakeholders in the triage and intake process, providing both phone based assessment, phone based crisis support, advice and linkage to internal and external services.
