POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Senior Communications Adviser - Internal Communications, your objective will be to support and build on the vision, values and reputation of the VHBA. This will be achieved through the coordination of tailored, persuasive and impactful communications. Reporting to the Head of Strategic Communications, this role will support information sharing and help to enhance a culture of engagement and collaboration through:

  • Identifying and driving effective internal communications activities
  • Delivering up-to-date key messages
  • Creating of engaging branded written and visual assets
  • Managing key stakeholders and competing priorities

What you will need to be successful

For success you will be a strong writer and editor with content creation skills. You will have experience working in a similar role developing and delivering integrated internal communication or change strategies. Ideally, you will have worked within a complex environment involving multiple, and often senior stakeholders.

  • Able to produce effective internal communication products
  • Experience across multiple channels and for multiple audiences
  • Manage internal social media networks, intranet, e-newsletters and events
  • Proactively identify communications opportunities

A tertiary qualification related to communications and media would be an advantage.

About the Communications and Engagement Unit

A strategic function that leads the delivery of communications, community engagement, digital engagement, stakeholder relations and creative content development. It's our role to help the Authority tell a clear, compelling and consistent story.
