Senior Mental Health Clinician 26+

  • 7 day rosters with shift and on call requirements

Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for a Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our Warragul Community Mental health team on a full time, ongoing basis.

Warragul Community Mental Health is a small multidisciplinary team situated in the heart of Warragul and servicing West Gippsland. We support the delivery of mental health care to clients, their families and carers within the West Gippsland region.

The Senior Mental Health Clinicianwill support the daily operational activities of the team and demonstrate a range of integrated community based skills. They will undertake a full range of clinical duties including assessments, care coordination, evidenced-based treatment and psycho-education. The Senior will work within a recovery orientated framework and demonstrate collaborative care prinicpals in their work with the consumer, their family and relevant supports networks.

We are looking for candidates with:

  • Registered Nurse Division 1 with formal post qualification in Mental Health Nursing, OR
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and current APHRA registration, OR
  • Appropriate post graduate qualification in Psychology and ccurrent APHRA registration, OR
  • Degree or Diploam in Social Work and qualification for AASW membership
  • 5 years ecperience in a mental health role and some leadership experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
