PTA Level 7 range: $139,196 to $153,528 pa (plus 9.50% super)

About the Role:

In the critical position of Senior Executive Coordinator, you will be responsible for the central coordination of corporate services; planning activities and for ensuring the timely and efficient flow of information to and from the offices of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Chief Officer (CO).

Reporting directly to the CEO, your specific duties and accountabilities will include:

● Provision of professional and well-considered advice to the CEO/CO on corporate and statutory issues affecting the senior executives' obligations, roles and responsibilities.
● Provision of high level, quality advice and counsel to the CEO/CO on a wide range of strategic, reputational and policy requirements and issues.
● Researching and analysing issues on behalf of the CEO/CO and facilitating resolution as appropriate or bringing considered proposals for discussion with the CEO/CO.
● Leading and coordinating the organisation's communications to and from the CEO Office, working closely with CFA management to ensure that all communications consistently reflect the strategic direction, policies and values of the organisation and Government.
● Developing and maintaining comprehensive internal and external network, inclusive of senior representatives of Government Departments, Ministerial Offices, industry and community bodies, enabling communications on the senior executive's behalf.
● Leading and coordinating the organisation's communications to and from the CEO Office, working closely with CFA management to ensure they consistently reflect the strategic direction, policies and values of CFA and Government.
● Management of the CEO Office staffing and support arrangements to ensure the seamless management and coordination of all matters considered by both the CEO/CO office.
● Working closely with other team members within the Office of the CEO to develop and monitor processes and systems designed to ensure the effective, timely and quality management of all issues, matters and documentation through the CEO's Office.
● Providing support on emergent issues directly to the CEO's Office and ensure that the strategic interest of CFA is appropriately addressed whilst being cognisant of CFA's political, social, commercial and industrial environment.

About You:

To succeed in this important position, you will have relevant tertiary qualifications and/or senior organisational leadership experience within complex and dynamic environments. You will have exceptional communication, analytical and business-writing skills and demonstrated experience providing expert advice and counsel to key Senior Executives in sensitive and time critical environments. You will bring extensive knowledge and comprehensive understanding of Government policy objectives and issues, public sector governance and political context, along with an ability to influence and brief high-level stakeholders in a variety of forums. You will also have solid expertise developing and sustaining strong, effective working relationships and networks with senior decision makers, key internal and external stakeholders and relevant external entities.
