Expressions of Interest Invited - Senior Medical Officers – FACEM
As the largest healthcare provider in East Gippsland, Bairnsdale Regional Health Service (BRHS) provides services to a rapidly growing population. The BRHS Medical Workforce provides services across a broad spectrum of care including our Emergency Department which currently receives approximately 20,000 varied presentations per year.
We are seeking experienced Senior Medical Officers to join Emergency team from the FACEM cohort. In this role you will provide senior medical support to the BRHS Emergency Department by leading, supervising and educating Interns, Hospital Medical Officers and Registrars. The vision of the Emergency Department is as a secondment site for ACEM training as well as Rural Generalist training in Emergency Medicine with delivery of the EMC/EMD curriculum. Up to 30% non-clinical time will be rostered in order to achieve these goals.
