The Position:

In this role you will lead, coordinate and implement an effective workplace safety program at BRHS to ensure that a safe and healthy workplace is provided for all staff, legislative obligations are met and organisational objectives are achieved.  You will work in a professional environment with a range of experienced managers, health clinicians and support staff who are committed to improving health and safety in our workplace.

Key criteria required:

  • A minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety (or other related discipline)
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in an OHS coordination or advisory role
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of contemporary health and safety legislation, including hazard identification, assessment and control, workplace OHS inspections, audits and accident investigations.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the proven ability to influence and negotiate outcomes, and drive change to create a strong health and safety culture.
