About the Opportunity

The Senior Operational Risk Advisor position sits within Government and Portfolio Services and is responsible for leading a small team to provide operational risk advice to business areas across the Department. The role will interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to help build a positive risk culture and to ensure that the Department complies with internal and VPS risk standards. The role will also participate in supporting and facilitating risk related workshops to ensure operational risks, including those shared with external public and private sector bodies are effectively managed. The role will also support delivery of reports to governance groups including the Audit Risk and Integrity Committee and Executive leadership and support continuous improvement strategies to mature the department's risk management framework and processes.

About You

As the ideal candidate you will demonstrate
