Have you had experience in preparing and delivering land use planning advice and managing approval inputs into environmental impact assessment? Do you have a tertiary qualification in planning, science, environment or knowledge and experience in application of the Victoria Planning Provisions and environmental regulation framework?
The Planning and Environment Assessment - Energy Team has a need for a person skilled to support the delivery of effective, timely, and integrated responses to Planning and Environment Act referrals, environmental effects statements and related land use planning and approvals processes, with a focus on energy projects.
The role will use well developed technical planning and biodiversity knowledge with communication, project delivery, stakeholder management, critical thinking and problem solving to support the delivery of government priorities.
The role works collaboratively with other members of the Energy team in the Planning and Environment Assessment branch and stakeholders across the department to identify emerging issues, risks and trends impacting on the successful delivery of team priorities and develop solutions.
The role will benefit from the positive workplace culture and flexible working arrangements within DEECA and be supported by a dynamic team of professionals across the branch.
