An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and high performing individual to join the SPIR Group as Senior Policy Adviser within the Community Security and Emergency Management Branch at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
As a member of our small, passionate and driven team, this position offers an exciting opportunity to work across the areas of national security, policing, critical infrastructure and counter-terrorism matters. The role is responsible for providing high-level advice and support on strategic policy issues, program and budget matters to help create safer and more resilient communities.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong policy, analytical and brief writing skills, as well as high-level communication, conceptual and analytical skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
This role is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of Victoria's security and emergency management reform agenda and help create safer and more resilient communities.
