POSITION SUMMARY:

 

A rewarding and challenging opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Policy Advisor reporting to and supporting the work of the Director, Community Housing, Homes Victoria.

The Senior Policy Advisor work alongside a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team focused on delivering the Government's agenda of increasing access to social and affordable housing for Victorians. This will be achieved through partnership with non-profit community housing organisations that develop, own and manage social and affordable housing. These organisations are positioned to play a leading role in Government's landmark $5 billion social and affordable housing investment program known as the Big Housing Build.

You will operate in a complex and dynamic environment, requiring capacity to exercise sound judgement, liaise effectively with senior executives and build relationships with key people across the department and relevant stakeholders for Homes Victoria.

The role will require a dynamic and flexible candidate, skilled in written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, consultation, and negotiation.
