Role purpose

The Senior Policy Officers will work in a collaborative and innovative team focused on improving outcomes for veterans in Victoria, particularly through employment, housing and wellbeing initiatives.

You will support the delivery of the Victorian Government's veteran employment initiatives and working with the veteran sector to develop accommodation options for veterans with complex needs. This will include development of a veteran accommodation plan which incorporates the recommendations of the Victorian Veterans Sector Study 2021.

The roles require experienced professionals with a good understanding of government processes, an ability to work in a complex, sensitive and fast paced environment, and flexible and comfortable with change. The successful candidates will demonstrate strong project management, policy, analytical and communication skills and will possess an ability to influence stakeholders (government and non-government) and to work effectively in a team environment.
