About the position:

This is a senior role for an experienced policy and regulation professional, working with Victoria's new environment protection framework. You will develop and oversee the delivery of policy and regulation initiatives, instruments, and guidance in relation to financial assurance.


About You:

To be successful in this role you will:

* Have a relevant tertiary degree and/or post graduate qualifications in public policy, environmental science, law, planning, economics, humanities, or a related discipline

* Demonstrate experience developing, implementing, and evaluating regulatory policy, instruments, strategy, and guidance in a fast-moving and challenging public policy context

* Have a demonstrated ability to initiate, maintain and strengthen stakeholder relationships, within Government and with industry and with environment groups.
