Role: Senior Project Officer – Fixed term until 31 December 2022

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Project Officer will support the design and establishment of the new mental health improvement unit in Safer Care Victoria. You will use your skills in project management, communication and stakeholder engagement to successfully progress the design and establishment of the Unit.

You will draw on your experience and ability to communicate with a wide audience to support external and internal stakeholders and lead key advisory and operational activities as part of the Unit's design and establishment team.

This position provides an opportunity to grow your strategic and analytical skills, and work with teams and people across Safer Care Victoria.

  • An experienced Senior Project Officer with a sound knowledge of the health and/or mental health system and interested in being part of a new approach to quality improvement in Victoria's mental health and wellbeing services?
  • A problem solver who generates new ideas and applies experience to contribute practical and strategic solutions?
  • A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and proactively builds relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders?
  • A self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity?
