We are looking for a proactive person who is a great communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
The Senior Science Writer is a strong analytical thinker, with an aptitude for stakeholder engagement and extensive experience in analysing, consulting on and presenting complex data and research. The position requires extensive systems thinking with strong science, analytical and writing skills.
The Senior Science Writer is an excellent communicator with strong stakeholder management skills and excellent public presentation skills and experience presenting complex issues to senior executives, ministers, parliamentary committees and/or independent inquiries. Consulting purposefully and independently with senior stakeholders across government, business, non-government organisations and with the broader community, the position provides authoritative expert advice on complex issues regarding the conservation outcomes of the Melbourne Strategic Assessment, biodiversity and regulatory frameworks.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
This is a fixed term position available for a period of 18 months.
