About the role:
The initial duties of the Intelligence Analyst position will be at the Priority and Safer Communities Division. This Division is the corporate conduit between community representatives and Victoria Police frontline services. This role will drive organisational values and strategic direction to enhance engagement and service delivery to priority communities through strategic research, analysis and the delivery of key policy and projects.
As the successful applicant, you will prepare intelligence products that support the Division to identify emerging trends, risks to the community and opportunities where Victoria Police can improve their service delivery. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to ongoing capability development that focuses on proactive identification of community safety, ethical health risks and early intervention opportunities. The role will require you to work with key stakeholders, within and external to the Victoria Police. You can expect to support other priorities that may occur within the Division or the Capability Department as determined at the time.
