About the role


The Service Manager is responsible for the leadership, management, and development of effective multidisciplinary teams across the Continuing Care Teams (CCT) based in Ringwood East to deliver an appropriate range of high quality services. The Service Manager, in conjunction with the Lead Psychiatrist, is required to provide professional leadership across the Continuing Care Service by ensuring that high quality clinical standards are met for the operational service and to drive service innovation and the development of evidence based practice. It is an exciting time to join our Mental Health Program as we implement the recommendations from the Royal Commission into Mental Health.



About you 


To be successful in this role you will possess:



  • Relevant clinical qualifications and where relevant current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) requirement to practice within that profession

  • Extensive experience as a mental health clinician

  • Experience in leading multidisciplinary teams

  • Demonstrated excellence in clinical leadership and supervision within the multidisciplinary workforce

  • A strong commitment to high quality person centred recovery focused care

  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team

  • Demonstrated ability to lead change

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
