About the Opportunity
The Social Media Manager is responsible for the Library's online presence, and social media follower engagement. The Social Media Manager is accountable for overseeing the management of the Library's social media platforms and online communities, managing e-communications and working collaboratively with the organisation to broaden awareness of the Library's collections, programs and initiatives across digital media.
The Social Media Manager will lead the social media paid and organic content plan across the Library's social channels. They will identify opportunities to amplify our stories, messages and offerings, bringing to life the Library's online voice.
The Social Media Manager contributes to the Library's goals of reaching 3 million onsite visitors by 2026 (1 million new visitors) by way of amplifying the Library's voice via social media channels, and by creating content and communications to reach a broad and diverse audience.
About You
The ideal candidate possesses solid working knowledge of social media platforms and digital platforms and is able to create and tailor social media content that engages and informs.
