About the Role 
We are seeking applications for a highly motivated Grade 1 or Grade 2 Speech Pathologist to join our friendly and supportive Grampians Health Speech Pathology team at our Stawell Campus in the beautiful Grampians region.

The Speech Pathology Department at Grampians Health Stawell works across a variety of settings including inpatients, residential aged care, community health and NDIS. As the Grade 1 or Grade 2 Speech Pathologist you will be responsible for a broad caseload across adults and paediatric streams and specific duties include the assessment, diagnosis and management of clients presenting with communication and swallowing disorders, with the opportunity to tailor your caseload to support your specific clinical needs and interests.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a growing Speech Pathology team with the support of a Grade 3 clinician onsite and the broader Allied Health MDT Team. You’ll also be an active member of the wider GH Speech Pathology team our across Ballarat, Edenhope, Dimboola, Horsham, and Stawell Campuses. Clinical supervision, mentoring and ongoing professional development will be provided.

Skills and Experience

  • A degree in Speech Pathology
  • Registration with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Excellent professional behaviour, communication and team collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills and adaptability to working across a varied case load
  • Experience with quality improvement projects, supervising grade ones or students desirable.
  • Previous experience working in NDIS settings desirable
