Northeast Health Wangaratta (NHW) is a growing sub-regional health service which provides best-practice clinical care to the Central Hume region. NHW is proud to have recently opened an expanded emergency department, medical ward, new ICU and redeveloped paediatric, special care nursery and maternity wards. NHW offers exciting clinical diversity with an extensive range of acute, sub-acute, aged care and community services.
We are seeking experienced, motivated, dynamic and solution focused speech pathologists to support our expanded services and join our growing team of 10 Grade 1, 2 & 3 speech pathologists.
We currently have positions available within our inpatient setting across the acute and/or rehabilitation wards where the successful applicant will be supported to upskill in adult videofluoroscopy and paediatric feeding in the special care nursery. We also have an opportunity to work with our team of speech pathologists in the paediatric community health setting working with children from birth to school entry who have disorders in speech, language, fluency and/or voice. The successful applicants will be required to deliver high quality, evidence based speech pathology assessment and intervention whilst working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
