About the role
South West Healthcare's (SWH) Speech Pathology Department provides best practice services to groups and individuals of all ages, across a range of community and hospital programs. Care is delivered as part of an established and progressive multidisciplinary team which includes a range of Allied Health, Nursing and Medical services.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our adult team. The successful candidate will primarily work across subacute ambulatory rehabilitation programs and provide clinical leadership to Grade 1 clinicians working across acute and rehabilitation units. You will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team, clients and their families to undertake a range of assessments and therapy to achieve optimal client outcomes. You will support the development and maintenance of a high quality care environment and promote and participate in quality improvement activities and initiatives.

As a Speech Pathologist, you will have proven clinical and leadership experience working within the health sector, excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated collaborative approach to multi-disciplinary care. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of contemporary practice and passion for driving client centred care.
