About the Role


Speech Pathology at Monash Health covers the continuum and the life span. We are a large adult bed based department across five hospital sites; Monash Medical Centre, Kingston Centre, Dandenong, Moorabbin and Casey hospitals and have close connections with teams of speech pathologists in Community Health, Community Rehabilitation, Specialist Clinics, Mental Health Programs, Monash Children’s Hospital and the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service.


This position is responsible for coordinating speech pathology service provision within a Head and Neck and Critical Care stream that includes the specialities of Tracheostomy management, Laryngectomy Management and post-surgical care of clients undergoing surgery for head and neck cancer.

What we’re looking for in you:



  • Eligibility for certified practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia

  • Demonstrated clinical expertise and leadership in Head & Neck cancer populations. 

  • Highly Desirable – competence in FEES interpretation and/or scoping

  • Ability to undertake professional supervision and promote professional competence of speech pathology employees
