The role:

A great opportunity to join a dynamic public team health team! Northern Health are looking for Grade 1 and Grade 2 Speech Pathologists with an interest in adults to come and join our team on a casual basis. 

 

This is an exciting role that offers you the chance to build and broaden your clinical skills within a supportive environment, with exposure to a diverse caseload and a range of speciality areas. This role is further enhanced with access to resources such as VFSS, FEES and advance AAC devices, along with regular service advancement achieved through participation in quality assurance initiatives.

 

We have some part time and full time locum opportunities available within inpatient and outpatient caseloads.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Experience and good working knowledge of the assessment and management of patients presenting with disorders of communication and swallowing
  • Strong interpersonal skills to develop relationships and represent Speech Pathology on internal and external collaborations
  • Demonstrated flexibility in caseload management, in particular, an ability to manage a busy and varied paediatric outpatient caseload
  • Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary allied health team
