The Department of Education is looking for a Psychologist to contribute to the important work of our Student Support Services (SSS) team in Moonee Valley in supporting schools to address the barriers that impact on student(s) access, preparation, and progress to achieving their educational goals and development potential.
Student Support Services aims is to assist children and young people facing a range of barriers to learning to achieve their educational and developmental potential through the provision of a range of strategies and specialized support at individual, group, and school levels. Working in our Student Support Services team is deeply meaningful, highly rewarding, challenging, and dynamic and gives you the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the lives of children and young people, their families, schools, and communities.
You'll work with a diverse group of people who share a common goal, and you will be well supported to use your professional skills and knowledge to provide specialised support at the individual, group, school, and area level. Our dynamic team comprises Speech Pathologists, Psychologists and Social Workers. You will also work with other Area and regional staff, such as, Education Improvement Leaders, Visiting Teachers, School Nurses and Professional Practice Leaders to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes in schools.

This position is an ongoing full time position based at the Flemington Primary School with the SSS Moonee Valley team. Part time and flexible arrangements are negotiable.
