Support Worker


Casual positions 



We are seeking support workers to provide a diverse range of patient and resident care related activities under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or team leader. These casual positions are available immediately and can include working Monday to Sunday / 7 day, 24 hour roster.


Functions of the role aid to facilitate person centred care and may include cleaning and housekeeping, food and beverage duties, transport and couriering, ward support and patient support as listed in the award guidelines. Support Workers will interact with patients, relatives and team members participating in activities on a one to one basis according to care needs as required.



Key Selection Criteria include:



  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills

  • A commitment to customer service and person centred care

  • Knowledge of food hygiene and cleanliness standards

  • Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team

  • Ability to prioritise workload to ensure all tasks are completed in the required time frame

  • Ability to work under limited supervision

  • Current police check and working with children check
