Our Corporate Office is located at Thomas Embling Hospital just 15 minutes north of the city in Fairfield. Due to our announced expansion across all Directorates, we have a need for experienced like-minded professionals to join our team to support our growing services. Our Directorates includes Thomas Embling Hospital, Prison Operations and our Community Directorate with highly skilled disciplines including Nursing, Lived Experience, Occupational Therapy, Psychiatry, Psychologists and Social Work. We have an outstanding L&D and discipline Educator co-hort that continually upskill our already skilled and supportive team.

About the Role:

We are centralising our Talent Acquisition fucntion and the Talent Acquisition Partner, Allied Health and Psychology will provide best practice talent acquisition services to Forensicare by proactively sourcing and creating talent pipelines, whilst also managing end-to-end recruitment processes. A key focus of this position is to deliver a positive and engaging experience for our hiring managers and candidates.


Duties:

  • Build relationships with stakeholders to capture and scope meaningful job briefs that are fit for purpose and attract the right candidates.
  • Developing proactive sourcing and recruitment strategies via various talent platforms (e.g. Talent Pools, SEEK, LinkedIn or Specialist Boards)
  • Selecting and activating the right mix of sourcing channels for each campaign e.g. active and passive candidate
  • Partnering with hiring managers to map and maintain quality talent pipelines for future opportunitie
  • Build specialist knowledge and networks focused on delivery high quality service and outcomes for our Mental Health Nursing discpline

About You:

  • Stakeholder engagement to provide an exceptional experience for both Hiring Managers and Candidates.
  • Proven experience providing operational solutions to meet workforce planning needs.
  • Excellent relationship management and consulting skills including the ability to undertake consultative processes, influence and negotiate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation and organisational skills

What you need:

  • Experience and knowledge of the challenges within the Health services environment.
  • Broad recruitment experience across Psychology and Allied Health, including associated disciplines including Speech, Dietetics and Lived Experience beneficial
  • Extensive experience within a proactive Talent Acquisition function servicing and delivering to a complex matrix structured organisation
  • Demonstrated knowledge of attraction, recruitment and selection strategies, particularly best practice.
