An exciting opportunity for a Vendor Performance Manager

 The Vendor Performance Manager at EPA: 

The Vendor Performance Manager is a newly created position within IT and will be responsible for the ongoing management of contracts and relationships with third-party technology vendors and outsourced service providers. This is a pivotal role for IT as it leverages a variety of third party suppliers for the delivery of its services.

This role reports directly to the CIO and works closely with the IT Leadership Team and Corporate Procurement to source, govern and manage contracts for technology vendors throughout their lifecycle.

About You: 

To be successful in this role you will have .... 

  • Degree in Information Technology, a commercial or financial discipline or relevant area.
  • Extensive of experience in a role of similar seniority and dimension in a commercial or government enterprise
  • Deep experience in developing and implementing strategic supplier relationship management strategies including:
    • Contract management plans
    • Supplier engagement models
    • Supplier review programs
    • Supplier improvement and innovation programs, and
    • Supplier cost-down programs.
    • Significant experience with contract and commercial negotiations
    • Demonstrated experience with establishing, developing and fostering relationships with strategic vendors & outsourcers.
    • Demonstrated experience with tracking, measuring and reporting on vendor performance.
    • Ability to work with senior stakeholders from across the organisation.
    • Experience with developing, implementing, and enforcing supplier and outsourcer contractual obligations and service levels.
    • Experience with monitoring service levels and tracking service credits.
