The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT) is a justice service that resolves a wide range of disputes for the Victorian community, including renting, planning, and consumer disputes. Currently the busiest Tribunal in Australia, VCAT serves the community by resolving civil and administrative disputes and making decisions in human rights and guardianship cases. VCAT services a diverse range of Victorian disputes, from residential tenancy matters to complex building and property and human rights matters, which have a deep reach into the Victorian community and a direct impact on the economy, in particular, in planning, property, health and small business.
About the role
The Venue Coordinator is a multi-functional role, responsible for delivering front line services to VCAT users, parties in cases and external service providers, providing high quality administrative support through end-to-end processing of applications.
Reporting to the Manager, Regional Services, you will work as part of a small, dedicated team, providing customer service to VCAT users and support to VCAT Members in preparation for and during hearings.
The role will be primarily located onsite at the VCAT Frankston community based venue, however travel to any VCAT location, including regional venues and/or CBD locations may be required.
The successful candidate will undertake related induction and first aid officer training as part of their role.
This is a full-time, on-site based role.
