    Part Time 54hrs per fortnight 

    We have exciting opportunity to join our professional and dedicated Ward Clerk team. 

    About the role:

    This role is the main contact on the Acute ward and supports Operating Theatre and Day Procedure Unit.  Daily responsibilities include general reception duties, way finding to support patient/clients/Doctors/staff and other health professionals, bed returns, daily admission and discharges, arranging appointments and transportation for inpatients, maintaining patient safe custody and distributing of private patient newspapers.

    The successful applicant must be available to work shifts on a rotating roster covering 7 Days per week, must be able to work both morning and afternoon shifts Monday – Friday.

    The successful applicant will be required to work public holidays and weekends. 

    To be successful in this position, you will have:

    • Experience delivering high quality customer service.
    • The flexibility to take on, where possible, more days as and when required to cover leave
    • A proven track record in analytical and problem solving abilities
    • Be competent in the Microsoft Office suite and the have ability to pick up new programs with ease
    • A proven track record in managing priorities within a busy environment
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and show high levels of initiative
