WorkCover Claims Officer - fixed term 12 months

Your new team










  • Supporting our staff in the management of workcover claims and return to work processes

  • Providing strategic advice to support our staff in the early recovery from injury and early return to work

  • Supporting our managers in the management of workcover claims in line with legislative requirements

  • Implementing best practice policies and processes









 









Your success in this role, will be in your ability to  










  • Utilise your skills and experience to effectively manage our workcover claims

  • Build confidence and trust in the management of workcover and return to work processes.

  • Provide strategic advice and education to ensure best practice in the management of workcover claims and return to work procedures.



























Your Contribution










  • 2-3 year's experience in WorkCover claims management

  • Excellent knowledge of the WorkCover legislation, policies and guidelines

  • Outstanding interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills

  • Sound understanding of the financial implications of claims management and the Work Cover premium

  • Ability to build relationships and engage with a wide range of stakeholders
